How did you wean your 11 month old breastfed baby?

Mine has recently decided she wants to feed in the middle of the night all of a sudden. She eats solid foods well, she is down to 4 milk feedings a day including bedtime... However, she has decided she wants to have a midnight snack here and there. When I go back to work at 12 months, I will continue breastfeeding. But I can only breastfeed her before I go to work, and then bed time, and she will have whole milk as well at this point. What did you do to help your baby not feel so attached to the boob at this age?
