Trying 6 months

Took the pill for 8 years and stopped 6 months ago. Think this is 1st time I ovulated... I ovulated day 18 (had ovulation pain and had pos ovulation test), was waiting for period on day 28 but never came. Period late. Had spotting on day 30 and 31 - brown spotting. But then day 32 I got heavier bleed. With clots. Anyone else have heavier bleed ( using one pad a day not even) and still been pregnant. Can it still be implantation bleed? Never had spotting before period- just wishful thinking.
