How many poopy diapers?

How often do your 5-6 months old breastfed babies poop?
Our mini madame usually has a poopy diaper every 1-3 days but now it’s been 4 days and still nothing. Should I worry? 🧐

5-6 times a day.  But its not uncommon for them to not go in days.

My EBF 5mo has a record of 6 days but that was a one off. He usually goes every 1-2 days but it’s not uncommon for him to go 3-4 sometimes. Even when he did go 6 days he was still happy, comfortable and not constipated, he must have just been using all the milk/not taking as much as usual.

Mine has gone up to 10 days between poops but the pediatrician said it’s fine as long as she doesn’t seem uncomfortable. And she always manages to poop on that 10th day 😝 she’s back now to every 2-4 days.

Ebf babies can go up to 10 days I believe. But that should change if/ when you start solids. My son is ebf but goes usually 2 times a day.

Mine (EBF) poops at least 4 times in a 24 hour day... guess I have a poop machine 🙈

She has about 4-5 a week. Sometimes she will skip a day but never 2 days in a row. I take a probiotics and she does too and I find it helps.

Breastfeed babies don’t poop as often because they absorb so much. The advice from our ped was to use a baby suppository after 5 days

Usually every other day but he recently went 5 days with no poo. I read ebf babies might only poo once a week at this age.
