12 month old cries before bed!

Please tell me someone else is going thru this and I’m not alone! And if you have gone thru this please tell me some tricks/methods you’ve used! My 12 month old had always been a great sleeper. Just a night time bottle around 830-9pm and he would be out till about 4-5am for another bottle from the time he was about 5 months until recently. For about 2 weeks now he has become very clingy (separation anxiety stage?) and very verrry cranky at nap time/bed time. Mostly night time! We get settled in bed about 830pm and he will drink his bottle but he won’t fall asleep like before.. instead he will toss and turn and whine and cry and nothing seems to calm him. He wants to be held so I hold him but then he pushes off so I put him down and back and forth while fussing/crying. And all this will last till about 2am. It’s so hard with my husband trying to get sleep for work the next day and my daughter for school the next day so if you have gone thru this please tell me how y’all survived!

Here is a pic of my little trouble maker. He is such a happy baby and I’m always getting compliments about how happy and friendly he is! I just don’t know why this has started happening and I wish I could help my baby get some sleep 😩
