Joining uk Air Force .. very nervous

I’m joining at the age of 18.. but I’m very nervous I won’t ever find anyone that would accept and cope with my job and lifestyle.. I know what I am giving up for this job. Ie sacrificing my social network but Ive always wanted a family but I am petrified that going into something I want to do.. I won’t be able to have the best of both worlds. Any advice? Did anyone go in to the military without a boyf and have one while In??

What is it like to go home and see family?

Is it a shock when you joined?

Basic training? What’s it like?

-a very nervous girl. Determined. But extremely anxious who needs a little reassurance. Nobody else in my family will speak to me about it xx
