Missing diamond in ring?

Sooo I got engaged less than a month ago, and the ring was perfect. This morning when I woke up while I was looking at my ring I noticed there is a missing tiny diamond from the side... got the ring from helzberg diamonds. Is this normal? How much do you guys think it would cost to put a new diamond in? Store is closed but I will call once it opens

I had a huge stone somehow disappeare, sucks, and a tiny one I don't think would be a lot.

You can also ask about ways to prevent it from happening again. My jeweler recommended not sleeping with my ring on as it can get caught on things, and not wearing it when I swim or if i go in the ocean because the chemicals or salt can deteriorate the ring

No way of guessing price becaude it depends on size and the 4 cs. Different clarities color etc of diamond are different prices. When you go ask to have all your prongs checked.
