Love on different levels

Is it possible to love your significant other enough to want to have been married yesterday while they say they would like to wait a few years for marriage. I personally feel the love is on 2 different levels beyond him swearing it’s the same. 🤷🏽‍♀️ After being together the past 9 years, it hurts to hear he’s not ready. So much so I don’t think he ever will be. We’re 26 & 27.
