Does anyone else feel uncomfortable around most kids that aren’t theirs?

Yes 😂😂 I’m terrible with other people’s kids which is hard because we hang out with a lot of other mums and babies that are the same age as my daughter. They’re all so effortless with babies that aren’t their own and I feel so awkward with any child other than mine!

Most of the time I hate other people’s kids (well maybe not hate) because they make me uncomfortable and awkward. I think they’re super cute and all, but I don’t like interacting with them.
My son and my younger siblings are okay though since they’re “mine”.

I was never a kid person before having my daughter and now I’m still not. I love my kid, my kid is everything I’ve ever wanted and more. But other people’s kids (including family and friends) no thank you. I do not want to baby sit someone else’s child or even hold them 90% of the time unless it’s a brand new baby. Kids kinda intimidate me in this weird way. Like i don’t ever know what to do or say when it comes to someone else’s kid. lol. I know what to do when it comes to my kid and that’s it.
