Early period and pregnant

So, I usually have late periods and sometimes skip months. It’s become more regular since I had my first child 2 years ago, but still unpredictable. Anyways, I got my period one week earlier than expected and it lasted not even 2 full days. I was really feeling like I could have been pregnant and planned to test next week, when I got my period. It felt like a normal period, but I read up on it and I guess it could be implantation bleeding and not like a real period. Has this happened to anyone and they ended up being pregnant? My period wasn’t “due” until at least the 5th.
