How did you lose your virginity?

So, Ik that it really depends on what you believe in and that you shouldn’t be basing everything you do on what others are doing but I feel like since I’m in hs I’m like that. Anyway, I think sex is a concept but I don’t want to lose my virginity to a hookup but I also don’t really care if I’m not in a relationship. As long as the friend or person is close-ish and I can trust them and that I should just do me. But I do have a friend and Ik he wants to fuck and ig it’s kind of tempting. Like I want to but then I’m nervous and I get a little insecure. And I don’t think I’m trying to rush anything it just seems like something I want to do. Like I’ll think about it later and want to but when I think about it when we could hang out and have sex I’m just shy about it. and idk what to do. What do you guys think?
