I'm not scared of giving birth, I'm scared of giving birth in a hospital.

Ive been struggling with this my entire pregnancy. I'm currently 35 weeks and as soon as I found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted to do this naturally. Our bodies were made to do this and hospitals are bankrolling on birth with all there interventions. I would love to do this at home but I couldn't find a MW to come to my house that was covered by my insurance. I don't want an unassisted birth so I am going to a birthing center(which is inside my hospital and provides all interventions). I don't want any medications at all, especially piticocin and any pain management medications. I plan on laboring at home for as long as I can without having a baby in the car. I'm worried that the hospital staff will pressure me into interventions. In worried they will not respect how I want to give birth. Most of all I am scared of what they will do after I have my baby. I personally know 2 women that their babies were given to the wrong mothers!! My aunt who gave birth 4 years ago refused hep b, bathing, vit k, eye ointment, and told all nurses her son was not to go to the nursery. She went to sleep and when she woke up her baby was gone! A nurse who she told all the above to, took her son the the nursery, gave him a bath, gave him the eye ointment, vit k, and hep B. She said it was policy and that he looked crusty from the vernix so he needed a bath! I plan on refusing all of that as well! I'm beyond terrified of hospital staff going behind my back and doing everything just like they did to my aunts son. I wish I couldve found someone to assist in a home birth. I wish I didn't have to worry that the staff won't respect my wishes with my son and I. I'm not even looking forward to my birth anymore simply due to the fact I'm going to a hospital where I am going to have to fight every second for what I want.
