I’m 5 weeks along and last week at 4 I had my blood drawn to confirm pregnancy. They said the HCG was consistent with being 4-5 weeks. But never gave me the number. They also didn’t set up a second draw.

I didn’t think anything of it but I see a lot of women get a second blood test to make sure the numbers are doubling.

This is my first pregnancy so I’m not sure if this is normal? Should I request a second blood draw? Or just wait another few weeks until my ultrasound?
