D&C with local anesthesia vs Pill miscarriage

Hello Ladies,

Wondering if anyone has selected the pill form. This is my 3rd miscarriage we went today for our 2nd ultrasound no heartbeat LMP 8 weeks, 4 days with fetus pole and sack measuring 6w 3 days.

The doctor said I can choose between D&C with local anesthesia performed at the doctors office or take a medicine start the miscarriage process naturally. I have had a D&C with local anesthesia previously with my 1st miscarriage, it was very painful and a horrible experience. I was awake and talk with the nurses and doctor through the procedure. My 2nd miscarriage happen naturally, heavy cramping with passing of large clots. I am leaning toward the pill since my first experience was horrible with a D&C. Any one with advise or previous experience ?
