Anyone else have this happen?

We went for our 20 week scan today . The tech said she would have the radiologist look at everything, and the doctor would call us. The nurse called later , saying it looks like there might be something wrong with the baby. She said the development of his brain and head. We go back on Wednesday to a specialist. Everything I have read is saying that babies with this don’t last long outside of the womb. Anyone else have something similar?

It’s really hard to tell without an official diagnosis unfortunately but I hope everything turns out okay for you and your little guy. ❤️

I had a younger sister that hadn’t developed a brain at all, not sure about if it’s partial or not though. Prayers sending your way

My daughters head shape and size was the give away for her having Spina bifida. It may not be fatal but it may be a serious or severe disability. Don’t know why they are making you wait, that’s so cruel. They will go through all your options once you have received an offical diagnosis. I’m so sorry you are going through this. It was the darkest time of my life. Still hold hope for them being wrong, but be prepared in case it’s not good news. Sending lots of love  xxx

Sending prayers! Wait for the official diagnosis but if it was something serious most doctors dont like to wait to give that information

My first was diagnosed with ancephaly where the skull didnt close all the way , she lived 10 hours after birth .. I'll be praying for you

I know this is easier for me to say but try ur best not to freak out yet cuz baby feels that too. Try and relax till you have more information.
