Sleep problems

My little one will be 8wks in two days but he wont sleep unless right on me or next to me. Ive tried putting him in his crib right after he falls asleep but he wakes back up within five minutes and screams. Its too early to try and let him cry it out (I also dont like that method ideas anyways) so Ive been stuck cosleeping unless I never want to get any rest. Does anyone have any tips to get him to sleep in the crib? Ive tried a swing, bassinet and a rocking bassinet. He hates being swaddled so that never works either.
