Can a baby have an adverse reaction to immunization if given too early?

My son was given his two month old immunization shots a week early by mistake. A nurse that was fired scheduled them a week too early and after they were administered the doctor said he wasn’t quite two months yet. She assured me that he was fine. She was concerned about billing and when he starts school. Can he have a severe reaction to the immunization or have trouble creating antibodies to fight against the virus?

Immunizations are scheduled the way they are because that’s when a person has the strongest immune response to them (make the most antibodies against that disease). Being just one week early or late though wouldn’t cause a significant difference in immune response. Him getting them a week early will unlikely cause an adverse reaction.

My son is getting his 2 month shots at 7 weeks because we’re going to be traveling and his pediatrician wanted him to get them before we leave. She said they can have them anytime after 6 weeks.

If he didnt have a reaction after the shots were give up to a week after then he wont its fine its not idle to give it them early do theur immune systems still being creat but its also not bad either if its couple days before
