Anyone buy a car with no credit history?

My husband and I are car shopping, but we have no credit history. Anyone in the military do this and where did you get your loan? What’s your APR?

Be wary of dealerships right around bases. They tend to approve military members with very high interest rates do your research.

When i had no credit history and i bought my car , i got a 17% interest rate. It was horrible. After a few monthes of gaining credit through other stuff , i traded it for my dream car and got a 7% interest rate. Gain credit before you buy. They will most likely make you get a new car, because you dont credit (and if you dont follow through they can still sell it and make money. ) With that comes high car payments and insurance.

I had no credit so needed to have a co-signer. My loan came through a bank that the car place found for me.
