The waiting game... 37 weeks+

This is my first baby and I have been off work to due slight complications since 32 weeks. I am SOOO bored at home but all of my friends work 2nd shift (😭). My last appointment they did a growth scan and baby girl was measuring 7lb 10oz (yes I know these can be way off, please dont focus on this part 🙄) her head is measuring at 41 weeks already (her dad has a basketball for a head) her legs are measuring 40 weeks but everything else is measuring good. Shes going to be a big baby. I was 8lb 15oz when I was born so not really a surprise. But I'm a very tiny adult. I am opting for an elective induction at 39 weeks due to the complication that has me off work and due to the fact that this baby is huge, I'm uncomfortable, and because I am just done with pregnancy at this point. Also with me being so tiny I am TERRIFIED of needing a c section. At 37 weeks I was 2cm dialated, 50% effaced, and dr could feel my bag. I also have been having inconsistent contractions. He told me hes not sure if I'll need an induction and he kept saying "I'll see you next week if I dont see you sooner!" So now my patience is running even lower than normal. Time has stopped. I'm uncomfortable and baby girl can make her appearance any day now. Mommy and daddy (and grandmas!) Are ready to meet you Miyah Rae 😫
