What do I do?

So my boyfriend & I are totally aboard for trying for a baby! But he wants to go to the doctor to make sure everything is good to go lol. But I don’t think I have problem conceiving because we never actually “tried”. Have any of you ladies went to the doctor before starting your TTC journey? Like all my friends never went to the doctor & they had a great healthy pregnancy.. Idk lol I need advice. 😂

My best friend went to the doc before trying and they told her everything was good to go and shes still trying. I didnt go to the doc and i conceived within 2 cycles. I dont think you need to go or are told to go until youve been trying for a year. Unless you both havent been in years. Then it might be a good idea for a physical.

You can go get a check up if it makes you both feel better (he can get one too), but no need to see a fertility doctor unless you have some underlying issue. They say you should try for 12 months before going to a fertility doctor if you’re under 35. Over 35, you should try for 6 months. Over 40, try for 3 months.
