Boyfriend ignoring question.... ?

So Me and my boyfriend were having a serious convo, expressing our feelings and I asked him “ is he still interested in me “ I do it for reinsurance, because I have issues myself, trust, self esteem etc.

Well this is what happened, after I did and how long it took for a reply. I’m pretty hurt and upset about it. Even him ignoring the question completely. I’m pretty mad. What does this even mean ? Like why no effort. Hey
