Cramps while pregnant?

I am 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Today I have been having severe cramps that feel like I'm on my period. I have had no spotting. But the pain alone is alarming. Do I need to see medical attention or am I just over thinking? 
This is my second pregnancy. I don't remember pain like this with my daughter but I know every pregnancy is different.

When I was about 5 weeks along I was having cramps so bad it woke me up a couple of times. I didn't have any bleeding and I'm currently 32 weeks along 😊

I had cramps too, as long as there is no bleeding it should be fine. My dr said it was my uterus growing.

I was told it’s normal and is the uterus stretching. As long as there’s no bleeding and the pain isn’t too severe you should be ok, but you should still tell your OB/midwife about it

I had cramps up until I was around 17 weeks. I also had a prior miscarriage so I was worried with every single pain but my doctor told me as long as there is no bleeding, you are fine and it is normal. Drink lots of water and pray! You will be fine

I had really bad cramps early on in pregnancy, made me cry a few times. Currently 28 weeks.

I had that at 6+3 too with back pain and spotting. Ultrasound showed all was well. If you’re very worried call your doctor

I'm almost 32 weeks and I have cramps really bad. I got checked and the doctor said it was normal. You could trying taking a warm/hot bath, use a heating pad, lay with a pillow under your hips, or you could trying some tylenol. Nothing helps mine but hopefully something will work for you
