Older boyfriends

As a 20 year old in college, what is yalls opinions on being with someone who is 32 and has 2 kids already. He really is a great guy, and I want to be open with him.

My parents would not agree and would probably flip out.

But how do you know if you’re making the right decision? I know you can’t make everyone happy, but my parents is a different story.
