Whats the silliest thing you've worried about as a mom?

I try not to breathe in my daughter's face because she'd be breathing in my carbon dioxide instead of oxygen. I was worried the CO2 would fill her lungs and she wouldn't survive. 
This is meant to be lighthearted and hopefully you have a funny story but that's mine. I've calmed down now. FTM, my list of worries couldn't fit on 10 pages 😆

So this may not be light hearted.. I think it’s hilarious now 10 years later. When I was pregnant with my first, I watched this movie/documentary about a lady who stole this ladies baby. Well when I had our son, a lady came in and on one of the papers it said not to put up bows, balloons etc showing a new baby on your door or mailbox. This sent me into overdrive. 
Our sons first night home, my husband walks in the bedroom and goes umm what is going on in here?? I had created a booby trap with string, his baby gate, swing etc so if someone tried to take him in the night, I would for sure hear it. Not to mention, I had his crib pushed up against our bed on top of the booby trap.

I had a candle going thin the kitchen and my LO started to cough every couple hours or so. Most likely because it was a perfumery candle. Anywho, I thought I had poisoned him. I watched over him for like 5 hours to make sure he didn't die via candle. 🤦‍♀️

When I first had my daughter, I was told that for a while, I shouldn't let her go more than 4 hours without eating. I woult think she was literally starve to death if I let her go more than 4 hours (my daughter loved to sleep). My mother, who stayed to help out the first week, was supposed to wake her up to feed her, and I flipped out when she said she wanted to let her sleep and was starting to have anxiety because it was 4.5 hours. My girl is 5 months old, so I know I have plenty of silly things to come for me to worry about. 😂

Ha ha reading these “Mum worries” are brilliant...would we even be able to call ourselves mums if we didn’t worry about our little ones constantly?? Even when there’s nothing to worry about we will think of something! Sleep, nap times, poo, food, milk, toys/stimulation, too hot, too cold, GERMS....

Let me preface this by the fact i am a nurse in a prison.
I have heard so many stories of babies being kidnapped or moms having babies cut out of them. Im a paranoid freak at grocery stories

I worry about all sorts of things. 
I have three daughters lol. 
I dont really have an over abundance of irrational fears. Lol
Right now, with my 4 month old I just worry about her being cold all the time ha. It's weird. But its winter so.

One night during the first week home with baby, he was so fussy and refusing to sleep. He was fed, changed, swaddled, everything but just wouldn’t settle to sleep. At about 4am my husband just got up and popped a pacifier in his mouth and of course he fell straight asleep. I had a breakdown, called my mom crying about nipple confusion, he would never breastfeed again, he was going to need a pacifier until he was an adult, etc etc. Turns out that was the only night EVER that he used a pacifier. Now I’m begging him to take it and he just spits it right out. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Most recently, I was worried about how good my toddler’s nap could possibly be, he just got the front off his crib a couple weeks ago and we now have video monitor to spy on him...he fell asleep with his feet still on the floor, top half on the mattress. Was I going in to wake him up, though? Never!!! Slept for an hour and a half🤷🏼‍♀️

Carbon dioxide that mom breaths out actually can help baby’s breathe better cause it’s in so little amount. As for silly worry’s I guess for me I didn’t have one. But my biggest worry was someone would take her , since she was born she’s been a people magnet something about her just draws people to her. She two now and we still get stopped by random people five or more times in the store to be told how beautiful she is or how gorgeous her big blue eyes are or how blessed we are to have such a beautiful child. At first yeah it was nice and left us proud and blessed but after a while it creeped me out and still does. We had one lady randomly come up and pick her up out of our cart and hug her (which my daughter didn’t care cause well she loves hugs from anyone) and  proceeded to tell us how special she is and beautiful blah blah blah all while still holding her. Like um no you don’t just randomly pick up someone else kid who have never met in your life. We left that store very quickly after and we actually agreed not to take our daughter anywhere unless we are together so we both have an eye on her at all times. Just an idea to give you a hint to what she looks like, olive tone skin, huge bright gray/blue eyes, long thick loose curly brown hair, perfect straight teeth, tall and thin. A real heart breaker in the making
