Nexplanon HELP TMI? Maybe.

Oh my gosh guys. I’m not pleased. So I got my nexplanon implant on Nov. 8th, I stopped my period Nov. 9th. TODAY after being fine all day, I take a shower after work around 1130pm and I look down and I am bloody mess. My periods are NOT that heavy. Certainly never to where I’ve been caught by surprise, not in years. My anxiety is at a 10/10 because my period has literally been gone ONE WEEK and I’m bleeding full force and gosh I know this is TMI but should I be going to an ER or something? I’m totally wigged out. I mean I have no other symptoms, other than that I feel perfectly fine, well that and anxiety but geez.

With the implant irregular bleeding is the most common side effect. Personally, I haven't had a period the entire time and idk anyone whose bleeding got heavier but I would say you're okay. If the bleeding persists or worsens then call your doc, they may try to regulate the bleeding.

Dudeeeeeee I had the EXACT same reaction to it!! I kept it in for like 2.5 years or something because I just thought it was nothing in the beginning and just the side effects and it would get better. But I actually got depressed because my anxiety was so bad I thought something was wrong with ME. So eventually got it out because it caused some pretty rough acne and I’m glad I did my anxiety increases so much and I wasn’t getting like month long periods every 3 months lol
