Preemie?

At my 33rd week appointment I was told  my daughter is only 4.12lbs which is in the 19th percentile when she was suppose to be 5lbs.im very worried that she isnt getting the nutrients she needs, I've gained  over 25lbs. Does  Anyone have experience  where they were told  baby was measuring small but baby delivered bigger than  the weight estimated by ultrasound???.

It happens all the time. Ultrasounds estimating weight aren’t very accurate in the third trimester.

They don’t worry at the 19th percentile. They only start worrying if your baby is at or below the 10th percentile and dropping a lot of percentiles very quickly. For us my daughter went from the 18th percentile to the 9th percentile in less than a month. The doctors then diagnosed us with growth restriction and I get scans every week. If she drops below the 5th percentile they’ll deliver her. Goal is 36-37 weeks, if I get there and she is still looking good I’ll go to 39 weeks. They’re estimating that she will be 5 and a half pounds if I get to 39 weeks. She will be tiny but that doesn’t make her a preemie. 
All that being said, the 19th percentile isn’t a bad thing, she is just going to be petite unless she hits a growth spurt.

Happened to my girlfriend.
They were told her son was barely 4lbs and needed to be induced right away. She was 36 weeks and baby was born 7lbs and huge .
They ultrasounds aren’t always accurate at weight approximation

My little man is 33 weeks today and weighing in at 4 lbs 2oz. I wasn't told which percentile he is in, but that he is small. I had to see a nutritionist. 
But I have also not gained anything this pregnancy. I have lost almost 30lbs, 12 in the last 3 weeks, with no explination. 
We will see what they say at my next appointment!

I was induced with my daughter at 39 weeks due to a diagnosis of IUGR.  Induction went great but I do remember through the whole delivery process I was told baby would likely be small.  Well she came out at a healthy 8 pound 6 ounces to everyone’s surprise.  I’m not saying to not trust your doctor but keep in mind those ultra sounds can be off a bit when it comes to size.

Not me, but they told my sister in law she was going to have a premie but she had a 7 lb baby. The measurements are usually just a guess. They never know for sure

Don’t worry about percentiles. My daughter had been consistently measuring small (below 10th percentile head circumference) since the 20 week scan. I’ve been going to the MFM since then. At my 28th week scan, her abdominal circumference was below the 3rd percentile (everything else was below 10th as well) which had me really worried. But then at the 32 week scan she’d had a growth spurt and her abdominal circumference had changed to the 35th percentile (everything else apart from her head’s out of the 10th percentile as well). 
Percentiles keep changing. My MFM said they don’t worry about percentiles unless they are below the 3rd/5th or about the 95th. What matters is consistency.
Also keep in mind that there’s a pretty big margin of error in the way measurements are taken during an ultrasound. And the difference between the 5th percentile and 50th percentile is about 2-4 mm.
