yeast infections due to sex?

is it possible to be getting a yeast infection due to sex and if so, what about it causes me to get a yeast infection? we don’t use a condom but i am on the pill. i had a yeast infection for quite a while (because i didn’t realise that it was a yeast infection until later) about 3 weeks ago and went on that cream medication for 5 days which cleared it up and then i had my period straight after which i also feel helped to clear it up but after having sex quite frequently lately (about 2 times, 3/4 at maximum when i see my bf which is usually a few times a week) i have a yeast infection again. could it be due to a small amount of cum inside me (he pulls out also but his pull out game is trash) so yeah if anyone has had this sort of thing happen to them i’d love some advice. i’ve told my mum about it and i’m going to go to the doctors to get this checked out but yeah i’d love some insight in the meantime thanks :)
