Bleeding after sex?

Last night was my first time having sex in 8 months! I peed after sex and it burned, there was some bleeding. Now I woke up this morning and I think I have my period. I haven’t been having periods since I’m on BC. Is it my period or theres just some bleeding in there since it was kind of a rough sex?

Does it still burn when you pee? It could be a uti. Sometimes with uti/kidney infection you can have blood in your urine.

For me anyway bleeding from sex is very dif than bleeding from period. It’s more of spotting if it is due to sex, if it is period its much heavier. Also sex can bring on a period if it was due soon, so that’s my guess here since you haven’t been having them recently from your bc
