Spending Thanksgiving Equally ?

Question

I need advice. My boyfriend’s mother is having a Thanksgiving dinner as and so is my my family. These dinners are happening at around the same time. How do some of you guys split time for families w your SO and still eat at both places to make things fair so no one feels left out? Lol
Fun fact: im pregnant and Due Thanksgiving day but doubt are baby wants to come anytime soon.

It’s a full production with my family. My mom does her thanksgiving a week or two before the actual holiday. Then my dads family and my husbands family do it on thanksgiving. His moms is usually around 3, so we go there first then we go to my dads, which starts around 6.

What I usually do is I switch yearly, so if we eat with his parents this Thanksgiving, next thanksgiving we’ll eat with mine. Our families usually eat at the same time (usually around 3.) so this year, I’m going to my parents at 12-2 then going to his 2-4/5 to eat and see them, then going back to my parents so I can see them a little bit more since I’ll only be over for a little bit & we’re not eating with them.. Next year ill either cook myself or eat with my family.

Thanksgiving isn’t much of a holiday for my family, so we usually just go to my in-laws for the week. My grandma isn’t doing well though and I have family home from out of state, so we’re going to my family’s noon meal and then heading to my in-laws who are doing a later meal. We’ll be there until Sunday. 
Christmas, however, is a whole ball of scheduling stress.

My husband and I got our families to compromise and his does like a 1 o’clock lunch and mine does like a 6 o’clock dinner. It actually worked out because his family typically always did there’s earlier and mine always later. I honestly can’t say it’s the most fun/stress free thing having to go from house to house but it makes everyone happy so it works for us. Christmas is the bigger headache! Pro tip-pick which house always has the best/better food and load up there, eat light at the other one lol

My SOs family lives 4 hours away so we alternate. One year thanksgiving here and christmas over there. Switched the next year. My mom lives in the same town as his family so i go to see her first and when its getting late i go back with my in laws.

We go to whichever one starts first then once we’re done there we go to the next. Better late than never. Our families know we have several stops to make and are just happy for us to get there when we are able to

We tried that the first year and ended up going to five thanksgivings. It was miserable. It also happened to be my boyfriend’s birthday, so the cake I made for him went to waste and we didn’t really get to spend quality time with anyone. Just pick one and then tell the other you’re switching off so you’ll see them next year. It’s tough but that’s the only way to really enjoy Thanksgiving. Alternatively, this year we are doing a fancy brunch with my husband’s family and dinner with mine. You could also just tell everyone you’re not feeling well (since you’re about to pop) and stay home and enjoy an evening with just the two of you.

We used to either choose one family for thanksgiving and do Christmas at the other or go to one family for lunch and to the other for dinner :) this year things didn’t work out as well because we moved so we’re 1 1/2 hrs from his family and 5 hours from mine. We couldn’t take our cat to see my family like we usually do so my brother is coming to get me to do thanksgiving with my family for a few days and the hubby is taking the cat to his moms for thanksgiving while I’m gone. We did a small dinner for us this last weekend. When i was little we had two or three places we had to go to and we just made stops at all of them lol

My SOs family does dinner early around 2-3 and my family does it around 6-7 so it works nicely for us
