Cold remedies?

I’m 32 weeks and miserable with a cold. I’m using a menthol rub on my chest and drinking lots of teas. What are some good remedies for nasal congestion and sore throat? Good, pregnancy safe essential oils?

Take apple cider vinegar mixed with honey, use peppermint oil, and a neti pot works wonders!

If you have a defuser eucalyptus or spearmint oil works great to help clear up congestion. Lavender oil will help relax you . If you like honey add it to green tea. That will also soothe your stomach and throat

Apple cider vinegar mixed with honey a dab of cinnamon and lemon twice a day. Doesn’t taste the best but works wonders! I am sure there is a exact recipe but I just kind of guess and top it off with water.

Get some breathe right strips. They REALLY helped me with the congestion at night, which helped me sleep better, and good sleep helps your body fight it off better! I never used them before, but now I love them.

I was sick around 28 weeks and I drank LOTS of water, ginger tea with lemon and honey, and food high in zinc. I also rested as much as I could. It took me like 5 days to get better. When I’m not pregnant I can knock a cold out in a day or two!
