how effective are condoms at preventing stds/stis?

Condoms however do not stop the transmit of HPV and herpes.

They are much less effective in protecting against any sti that can be transmitted through skin to skin contact like HPV and herpes. Though, theyre still better than nothing when it comes to those STDs. Theyre very effective in protecting in any STD that is transmitted through bodily fluids like blood semen etc.
