Why does God hate us

Question

Prayed everyday for support in my health and for a better job but I only got my hours cut and my boyfriend got fired from his. Also my health is deteriorating. I’m genuinely losing faith.

God doesn’t hate you. It’s hard to see past the rough parts and get through to the other side. I know, I’ve seen my fair share of trials. But He’s never failed me. I am in such a better situation now. I think I was fighting His calling for my life and that’s what made it so hard. I was stubborn, thinking that I knew better than He did. But he has a plan. Jeremiah 29:11 is a great passage. It helped me get through the tough times.

I’ve gone through something similar and thought “why is God forgetting me?”. But He never did! It was all in His plan. Sometimes certain doors need to close for others to open. At the time, it may be stressful and scary, but those are the times that God wants you to trust in Him and lean on Him most. Take it as an opportunity to grow in your faith. Things will work out. It just may happen in different timing rather than what you had thought for yourself.
For me, all I had wanted was a full time job making more money and to get insurance. I wanted to have a baby so badly too, but nothing was ever working out. My husband and i had a specific plan and were just waiting for it to happen perfectly. But it wasn’t. Then, I got a job earlier this year doing something I like, not love but it’s great for now. It’s not full time and I get no benefits, but I’m happy. God also revealed the opportunity to get a health sharing plan with a Christian ministry. So now I have a means to cover medical bills. My husband also just got offered a job beginning next year. Nothing that happened was apart of our own plan, but through it all we trusted Gods timing, and God showed us He had a different and better plan for us. And now we’re starting to try for a baby!
 It doesn’t mean the painful journey and the stress doesn’t exist. But just trust God. Pray.
