Have you ever cheated? And if so..

So if you ever cheated in a relationship would you tell your new partner about your past relationships or would you wait til a certain time to bring it up? Or until he asks, and would you tell the truth?

I feel like there no reason to bring up your “past” at all. If you were a cheater in your PAST why bring it up and stir up the pot? Just learn from your lesson and make your new relationship a better one. 🤷🏼‍♀️

My husband knows I cheated in the past, but that's more because we were really close friends and so shared all kinda of stuff with each other. I know he cheated as well. Does knowing make me worry he will do it again? Yes. And I'm fairly certain he has, but we just keep moving forward. Would I prefer not knowing he cheated before me? Yes probably, as it's given us some serious trust issues over the years as my previous cheating has probably done the same for him. I wish sometimes that we hadn't shared everything because I know I'm not that same teenager who cheated over a decade ago, and would have liked to give him the same opportunity to start again.

I told my now fiancé that in high school I cheated on a boyfriend and explained to him I’m not that way anymore and that if he wants to base who I am now from who I was then he should go now🤷‍♀️ we are very open with each other and I think that being honest from the start about your past is the best way to go😊

I say tell your new partner when it is the right time (like when an incident happens or something) so you can better explain yourself to him and he will understand you more if you have trust issues or something like that
