Best bottles for breastfed babies??

Question

Hey everyone! I’m a FTM and wondering which are the best bottles for breastfed babies? I plan to nurse and am trying to decide on which bottle to start with (knowing I might have to change down the road). I want to both nurse and pump. TIA!

From personal experience, if I were you I wouldn't get too many of one brand because baby may not like that particular brand. Each baby is different. I originally planned on using comotomo bottles when my baby needed a bottle (breastfed except when I was at work), but she refused that kind. I tried Advent, life factory, nuk, and probably some others I'm forgetting and the only one that worked was lansinoh momma bottles. But now that she's older she's not picky and will take whatever (although she's on to sippy cups now). So basically just see if you can get a few different ones (sometimes you can get free bottles when you create a baby registry or buy stuff at motherhood maternity) and then baby will let you know which ones he/she likes!

We had a latching issue with my first and went between Avent and Comotomos in attempt to get her back on the boob. Never ended up working out but comotomos worked best for her in the beginning.

I had to try several different types at first until we found one my son would properly latch to. Tommy Tippy ended up being our winner. But like a previous comment said, maybe buy a couple different bottle to begin with until you find one your baby likes and latches to.

I forget what kind I got but they have nipples that are good for breastfeed babies. I think it was advent natural bottles.  But most brands will have them.

Our son LOVES the playtex ventair. He would rarely spit up because he wasn’t consuming any air with his milk. I couldn’t breastfeed but exclusively pumped + formula. They’re wonderful!

I Breast fed my daughter and introduced tomee tipee bottles at 3 months. She took it like a champ. My sister has 3 kids too who all took tomee tipee brand.

I used the avent natural bottles. Bonus was that they worked with my pump so I didn’t have to transfer bottles!
