Something keeps telling me to test

Last cycle, a day before I was supposed to ovulate, I started my "period". It was very strange compared to my usual period and it came 2 weeks earlier. I had never had ovulation bleeding before, but after doing some research and talking to some women on here, that was not what it was. Now I am supposed to ovulate tomorrow. Ever since that bleeding (2 weeks ago), something has told me to take a test. I keep dismissing it because it was probably just a weird cycle, but I don't know. I can't bring myself to dismiss this feeling completely, but I also can't bring myself to buy a test (not even a cheao one).
