Who drinks coffee/pop?

Question

I have been drinking coffee or pop almost everyday during this pregnancy. I need it. I had to give up everything else, I cant give this up! I never used to drink pop but Ive been craving it! I only drink one caffeinated beverage a day and some days I dont drink any at all. But to get thru the exhaustion at work I need my caffeine. Anyone else still drinking coffee during pregnancy? Some people get so upset about it and tell me I shouldnt be. 🙄

Second pregnancy n I still do. I use to smoke before I got pregnant so I wish someone would try to take a cherry coke or French vanilla coffee from me

I drink about 8 cans of coke a day everyday have done this all my life also through my other four pregnancy’s babies all born healthy and happy

Yes this is my third I need caffeine when I can get it .. between being up all night in pain and tossing and turning and being up at 6 am with my others yes I drink caffeine . Some one don't like it they can come pick up the stufff I do and then I will not drink it and stay in bed 😂

I think it’s your body and your pregnancy and as long as you are doing so with all the information that’s okay. They say 200mg is okay for caffeine. Obviously too much sugar is also not recommended for anyone’s health (not just pregnancy) but it can put you at an increase risk for gestational diabetes. So maybe try to get your caffeine from tea or coffee and not pop so you can decrease sugar or use diet soda?
Also a new study was published that said that any amount of caffeine (even less than 200mg) can be associated with small for gestational age (low birth weight) babies so know that that is a risk factor as well.

I drink a cup of coffee or two occasionally when I have a headache that refuses to go away because those are usually caffeine headaches so I need it. Same with the soda. I generally just drink Sprite or whatever soda doesn't have caffeine in it, unless I have a headache and need the caffeine.

I do, probably over-caffeinate sometimes, but my system is used to it. Wouldn’t go from none to too much, though. Like I also drink a lot of lemon water, not something I would want to start doing  mid-pregnancy, since lots of lemon can be detoxing.

Not me! Not my cup of tea but literally every doctor says one caffeinated beverage a day isn’t going to do any harm. I don’t see why so many women get so bent out of shape with how they cope/ deal with pregnancy fatigue like damn don’t y’all have bigger fish to fry 😒
