Can you use monostat for a baby yeast infection on privet area?

Someone told me to use that on my son because I live in the middle of nowhere with no money and no way to get to a dr. He’s 8 months old

Don't use Vaseline lol that's a bad idea it can cause further infection.. use the cream stuff the other commenter was talking about

our doctor prescribed us Canesten for our daughters really bad, really red, diaper rash. Maybe you could try that if you’re not sure about using Monistat...

Yes, you can you can also use lotrimin. My experience with this didn't go well, I think DD is allergic, but that is what the doctor told me Monistat or lotrimin on her yeast rash.

So there you have it.. try Vaseline/aquaphor and if it doesn't resolve the issue use an antifungal cream.
