Mean question: but, do people think their own kids are ugly?

I only ask because I could never imagine thinking this about my own babies. It’s a piece of me just better! I read on another post a woman who thought her children looked like her in-laws and were ugly. How???

Personally I don’t think my son is ugly now but as a premie he had his days. There’s nothing wrong with thinking your child is ugly, some people just can be real with themselves while others feel guilt about it.

I think my daughter is literally the cutest thing on earth, but that’s probably because she’s my baby 😂 I’ve seen some ugly ass kids and assume their parents think they are gorgeous as well.

I don’t think I’d call my own kid ugly but not all kids are the cutest ever. You have to learn to find the beauty in your own child and kill the comparison habit. After all, their looks evolve over time.

I guess it all just depends. Personally, I firmly believe that my boyfriend and I have made the cutest babies in existence but then again, so do most other parents lol. My biological mom always talked about how my youngest sister wasn’t the cutest baby and had huge ears so I suppose some parents may find their children ugly haha.

My MIL says my husband was fat, cute, and cuddly when he was a baby and toddler. His little sister was skinny and bony and my MIL said she looked like a spider monkey and if she had been born first they probably wouldn’t have had a second 😂 she’s 25 now and absolutely gorgeous and confident but they definitely didn’t think she was a looker back then.

I’ve contemplated this myself, to a certain extent.  I think most parents look at their children and think that they are the most beautiful creatures in the world.  I know I do, every single day, I simply can’t imagine a more perfect human than my son.  I wonder if others think he’s handsome as well?  Or if there are people out there who think he’s not all that great looking (shame on them!  Lol).  I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder 🤷🏼‍♀️.  To answer your question though, I’m sure there are some who don’t particularly think their own children are good looking.

Not going by some of the food and dirt covered pics that come up in my FB & insta feed 😂 jokes aside I think a parent’s love and adoration for their child would give the rosiest coloured glasses.

People generally think their own kids are cute and there are some pretty weird looking babies out there. 
With babies born a bit early they can look a little funny at first even to the parents, but they grow into being cute babies soon enough.

I love my kids and i think theyre cute now but they were preemies and im not gna pretend they didnt look like funny little old hairy men with oversized feet. Eventually they got alittle chunk om them and grew and then they were super cute ❤ some kids are not that cute. Would i tell you that about your baby no. Unless i was close to you and i knew you wernt a butt hurt kind of person and you asked lol.
