TTC while going for a new position at work

So we've been TTC since September, I'm hoping for my BFP this cycle. I interviewed for a new position at work and have a great feeling about it. I won't find out for a few more weeks if I have it and the position begins in February. I'm nervous if I conceive it might hurt my chances of this position, a promotion. I know it would be to early to show and with my job I realistically don't have to tell anyone right away, I work at a computer and no lifting. Think I'm being irrational having this fear?
