Let me hear your induction stories please?

So I'm going to be induced in 8 days due to baby measuring quite big, and I'm tiny! My first 2 babies were not induction deliveries, though I did have pitocin to help speed things up. I'm anxious for the induction but so excited to meet my baby girl 😁💕 Can I hear your induction stories please?

Being induced fucking hurts lol sorry the contractions are awful. Pitocin caused me to have rolling contractions until my blood pressure spiked and I was forced to get a epidural. There are good stories, mine is not one of them 😂

I had one bad induction and one amazing one. I will talk about the good one. I literally didn't feel but 3 contractions! This was my 3rd baby. I labored without anything for 8 hrs I got the epidural due to after my water broke I knew the pain. I got that they broke my water, first time for me with my other two it broke naturally. And I only had a bit if nausea. That's literally it. I pushed for 15 mins and she was here! It was amazing honestly. I put her on my chest. She breastfed immediately. It was awesome. My second induction was the bed child birth I have had yet. Go in there with a positive mind set it will be ok!

I had a slow induction with my first. They gave me a medicine to ripen my cervix and then about 12 hours later they started pitocin. My contractions never got bad at all. They only felt like period cramps, which I don’t normally get anyways, so the pain was very low for me. They told me to go ahead and get the epidural at that point, so I did, which meant my pain never was above like a 3. The whole process was long and I didn’t sleep well (came in at 6pm, baby wasn’t born until 10:50pm the next day), but I would 100% do it all again.

Went in at 9am and got started on pitocin, contractions got bad around 12p and even worse after they broke my water around 1p. Got an epidural at 2p and was 9cm dialted by 6:45p. Started pushing at 7p and baby was born at 7:18p. Easy peasy lemon squeezey! I secretly hope I’m induced again 😂 I liked knowing when everything was going to happen.

Pitocin started, a couple hours later it got painful (contractions hurt induced or not induced), got a epidural, felt nothing but pressure when it was time to push. Easy. The recovery was worse than labor for me.
