I’ve been on nuvaring for 3 months, I’ve not had the best experience on it and I’ve have on and off bleeding the longest lasting a month of non stop bleeding. i took it out this morning. I’m wanting to get an iud but don’t really know the different between them all. I want something that won’t make me bleed i want to get rid of my period. I’m DESPERATE FOR HELP PLEASE!!!

It really just depends on what you're looking for. If you want hormonal and a shorter term IUD, mirena lasts about 5 years, skyla is smaller and I believe lasts 3. Paraguard is non normal and is a copper IUD. It lasts up to 10 years. But I've heard paraguard can cause bleeding a lot more so I probably wouldn't recommend that one for you.

I’ve got the mirena and love it. I barely bleed, it’s more like spotting. The copper IUD makes your period worse
