Coconut Oil + Vagina

Hi, everyone! So, I’m 18 and I had a yeast infenction (womp womp womp)... But it is gone now, yay! lol. I finished my medication about a week ago, and I went back today just to make sure it was gone and welp, it showed up negative. So, the doctor told me I should use coconut oil (like just rub it on a bit) just to prevent it and make it feel better just in case. I see lots of people that benefit from it but I googled it and I found a result that said it shouldn’t be used there?? Not sure what to do. Do any of you guys do this?
