Family just postponed baby announcement

We have been really excited to finally have my husbands whole family together for Christmas to make our big announcement. We are even hosting Christmas dinner because no one else wanted to just so we could all be together. Now because a relative's bf is working on Christmas they have rescheduled it. Maybe I'm just hormonal but i cant help to be upset that people NOT hosting can reschedule and expect the host to take work off on the day they want to be available for new christmas. Maybe we will just keep the news to ourselves.
