Cell phone carrier

So I currently have a contract with Sprint, we lease our phones through them as well. I want to cancel our contract because our service is awful and always has been. I literally cannot use my phone unless I’m connected to WiFi, calls get dropped or missed all the time (as in my phone will not ring but I’ll get a voicemail notification) and we pay way too much for 3gigs of data that’s shared between hubby and I. When we use it all up our service goes down to 2g so it becomes even slower. I don’t get service in my apartment so every phone call is broken up or gets dropped. It’s extremely frustrating when I’m trying to make important calls and we keep getting disconnected because of my phone service or the person can’t understand me because I break up on every other word. Not to mention all the times Sprint has tried to charge us for things they said they wouldn’t and sneak hidden charges into our bill. I’m pissed and fed up and have complained to them about our service and treatment racha and every time. They just take $15 off our next bill and then it all starts again.

When we first signed up they assured us the data plan would be enough, they also said our bill would get cheaper as time went on. Well neither has proven to be true because our bill always fluctuates but has never been below $160 a month for 2 phones! We want to cancel our service now but we can’t afford to pay early termination fees on the lines and the phones. Has anyone had success in doing this or do we just have to wait till our contract is up? It will be up in May 2019 but we are struggling now and being able to take $60 off our phone bill (by switching) would help us so much.
