Has anyone has becterial vaginosis?

So... I am 17 weeks pregnant. About 3 weeks ago, I had bleeding after intercourses and went directly to the doctor and got an ultrasound- baby was fine thank goodness!

This week, I’ve had strange brown discharge, went to the doctor who said I had a bacteria and proscribed me with vaginal clindamycin for 7 days.

I’m on day 3 of the medicine, and my discharge has definitely increased and changed color (is more pink now). Is this just the antibiotic flushing the bacteria out of my system? Have any of you had a similar experience?

I called my doctor and am waiting for a return call.
