His brother stalking me?

Hey guys so I have seeing this for a little over a year now his brother just got out of jail a couple months ago and is on parole. So him and he brother did the maintenance in my apartment building. But his brother was fired for stealing from me about a month ago. So yesterday at 6:30 in the morning his brother used a copy of my key to try in come into my apartment. Luckily I just happened to be awake and startled him off. I told the property manager and the guy I been seeing about it. I know he was upset and made his brother apologize to me. His brother told me he was just drunk. He didn’t outright tell me but implied that his brother was coming in there after me. My mom wants me to get a PPO against his brother. I feel caught in between cause he on parole and don’t want to make this worse by getting a restraining order but it doesn’t seem like he listening to his brother about staying away from me cause he came back after he was caught stealing. Not really sure what to do. Any advice will help.
