Empty sac success story 🥰

I see a lot of women here in the same situation as me and I just wanted to give you some hope. I had a blighted ovum two years ago and a healthy son last year. So now I had my first scan at 6+2 based on period but I knew that I ovulated 5-6 days later which would put me approximately at 5+4. During my scan we just saw an empty sac. I know it was kinda early but I saw at least a yolk with my son at 5+3. On the other hand, with my blighted ovum the sac had never been this big (and I made it to 8 weeks with that one). Anyways, I was told to come back in 10 days, so I went home and googled till my eyes bled and freaked out about another blighted ovum. But I had a very positive feeling about this pregnancy (with the blighted ovum I just knew something was wrong/missing from the beginning) and I am very nauseous (yep there are studies that you’re less likely to miscarry if you suffer from nausea). The scan was today and sure enough: a baby with a heartbeat measuring 7+0, right on track with the date calculated by ovulation! I am so relieved. 🥰
