‘That’s just him’. These words were chimed whenever he did something sexually forward, or was a little too touchy. I even found myself chiming these words to girls that felt uncomfortable in his presence. ‘He’s just affectionate’. Maybe it was my karma, after standing loyal to someone who has it in them to do such things. You find yourself making excuses, and making it normal. ‘Oh he just likes to cuddle’ ‘He’s just handsy’ ‘Just tell him no and he’ll stop’. Except he doesn’t stop does he. He laughs while you scream for him to release your arms that he’s pinned above your head, and he laughs while he tries touching you whilst not wearing trousers. He makes it into a joke, so that you don’t take it seriously, so that no one will ever take you seriously if you say something. Even the people that know him best. Because that’s how he’s manipulated it. You’d think, if I told this to a stranger, they’d believe me. But tell this to his best friend? Not a chance in hell.
