When will you take your baby outside?

I’m currently 34+5 and due January 9th, and I’ve been contemplating when it’s best to take baby outside. I’m from the Midlands in England and it’ll be quite cold come January. I was thinking of only taking my baby out to doctors, the hospital and occasionally to my parents house, but was unsure when I’d want to take him out in public due to the weather and not wanting him to catch anything.

I was going to wait until after he was 8 weeks when he’s started to get his vaccinations, but two months is a long time to be cooped up inside, no? When will you all take your baby’s outside?
