Daddy's girls and Momma's boys? Or...?

Question

If you have children, has it been your experience that girls tend to be daddy's girls and boys tend to be mommas boys? Or do they all want momma for the most part?
We are expecting a daughter (first baby)

in April and I'm hoping her and my husband develop a strong bond. 💗

Its complicated. One just doesnt become mommas boys ir daddys girls. Has to do with a lot.

Our daughter is a daddies girl. But if mommy isn't around she freaks out. daddy took her home while I was at a looooong doctors appt. And she wouldn't let him leave because mommy was still inside. Apparently she was screaming her lungs out for me. Otherwise it's all daddy all the time

My daughter has preferred me from the beginning. I’m not saying it won’t change over time, but some of it is that my husband was very stiff with her for a while when she was a baby. He got more natural, but it took some time. She loves him, and she absolutely adores playing with him and spending time with him now. I’m definitely her comfort person, though. Some of that may stem from me being blessed to be able to stay home with her. I was a total daddy’s girl, though. My brothers also preferred my dad for a long time, partially because they are adopted and he was the first healthy male figure they’d ever had. When I left for college, all that changed for me, though. I still adore my dad, but I needed my mom in ways that I couldn’t have imagined in that part of my life. I felt the same during pregnancy.
