Tomorrow is the big day!!!!!

I am posting this anonymously just in case there are people I may know on this app.

My husband and I aren’t posting on any social media. And we just told immediate family (and asked them to keep it a secret)

I’m supposed to deliver my rainbow baby girl on December 20th

BUT

My dr is going to do it tomorrow instead. (Worried about me having preeclampsia)

So I will be 37 weeks exactly when our girl arrives. I am so happy. She is measuring 2 weeks bigger, and our 4 year old son is sooooo excited to be a big brother.

FINALLY!!! After 1.5 years of trying for our rainbow baby, she arrives tomorrow!!!

She was born at 9.02AM 7lbs 1oz 19 3/4in long. She went into the NICU at 2.20PM to try and fight off an infection. It’s been a hard almost 24 hours.

I had a c-section and I just got up for the second time, walked for the first (to the bathroom) so I hope that when the NICU opens and when my husband is awake he can wheel me down to see her and start breastfeeding her.

I miss her so much.

UpDate 2: December 5th

She is still in the NICU and is doing so much better. All her levels are normal. And if she continues to be stable they will send her back upstairs to me tomorrow.

I got to see her for the first time since yesterday and I cried. Not gonna lie. But I’m so glad I was able to hold her.

It’s currently nap time but I thought I’d update if anyone was interested.

My 4 year old son Atlas adores his baby sister, and has given her the nickname Butterfly 🦋

She is 4 (almost 5) months old

At her 4 month appointment she was 14lbs 6oz 24.5inches long and is ready for baby food. So we stated her on Pumpkin and she loves it.

I wasn’t able to breastfeed her, my milk never came in but I’m still in love with her so our bonding didn’t get too damaged.

Here she is with her favorite person, my son and her big brother. He is the only one that has gotten her to full on giggle laugh. So I love how much they adore each other.

This photo was taken for her monthly picture so that’s why the date at the bottom is the 4th
